Peaches Vet Visit

Peaches waiting at the vet's

Peaches had quite a day today. Early in the afternoon, our human slaves were busy about to make travel arrangements when they noticed that her breathing had changed. She was making an audible wheezing/rasping noise when purring, squeaking or breathing hard (such as when she was trying to avoid being picked up!). They immediately whisked her off to their vet, who pronounced her congested with a mild URI (upper respiratory infection) and prescribed her two doses of TMS for the next 14 days.

Thankfully, our humans caught it early so hopefully Peaches will get better soon.. in the meantime, she is living away from us in a separate cage all of her own while they closely monitor her and spoil her rotten with lots of yummy veggie treats and extra attention. Needless to say, the humans plans have been scrapped, but whee piggies theorize that Peaches just really didn't want them to leave! Of course, none of us like pigsitters or being piggysat, but Peaches apparently decided to go the extra mile for us. Whee miss having her around in our cage though... hoping she gets better and can rejoin us very soon!
