
Frequently you will see pictures of the noble Capybara with a bird of some sort sitting on him or her. The purpose of this bird is still a mystery to capybaraologists. Are they there to pick off bugs? Defend the Capybara from other animals? Help the capybara avoid entering into unfavorable legal transactions? I like to think that they are protector birds, and do all of the above.
